Ezekiel Elliott led the league in rushing for the 2016 season as a rookie and was the focal point of the Dallas Cowboys offense. Now in his second year, the all-pro running back is looking to improve on his impressive total of 1,631 yards, exuding confidence and setting high expectations for himself as he entered his first offseason training camp program in early June.
Elliott says he wants to take his game to the next level and turn himself into an “elite runner” during the upcoming season. Specifically, he is pushing to increase his yardage total from last year by as much as 300 yards. Most importantly, however, he wants to continue the winning momentum he helped begin last season.
